India.Arie And Musiq Soulchild At The Jim Henson Company
India.Arie and Musiq Soulchild were photographed in Los Angeles on February 1st to record ‘We Are The World’ to benefit Haiti relief at the Jim Henson Company, the former A&M recording studio, where the original ‘We are The World’ song was recorded.
Musiq Soulchild Performs ‘SoBeautiful’ On ‘Good Day Atlanta’
Before Musiq Soulchild performed at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, the R&B singer visited ‘Good Day Atlanta’ on Wednesday (February 25) to perform ‘SoBeautiful’, the third single off the Philadelphia R&B singer’s fifth studio album ‘OnMyRadio’.
In a web extra interview, Musiq talked about the album, trying to be consistent, working with Mary J. Blige on the project, trying to be diverse musically, branching out into movie soundtracks, and teaming up with Coca-Cola on the BE campaign, encouraging people to do what they can to contribute to black history. Musiq Soulchild Inspired To Make Current And Credible Music
BallerStatus.com spoke with Musiq Soulchild about his latest album ‘Onmyradio’, asking the R&B singer who or what inspires him to continue to make music in the unpredictable industry. “People. People that support my music and people that come to my shows,” Musiq said. “I’m always inspired by them, knowing that I still make music that people care about and that people choose to invest in. Musiq Soulchild checked in with fans on his blog at MySpace on Tuesday (December 16) with the following message:
What’s Good y’all
Been a minute since I wrote, I know, been a whole lot goin on, been doin what I can to keep my head up, this business is tough, not complainin’, just keepin it 100, but I’m still in it, I know I still got y’all, and y’all still got my back so I guess it ain’t all bad after all..
Speakin of which, I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody for goin out and gettin the music, let’s me know what I do still matters, a very comforting thing to know these days, big shout out to everybody that came to the meet and greets and showed up at the instores, I appreciate that, I really love it when I can see you and thank you personally, that really means a whole lot to me, not on no music business stuff, just real talk, there’s no Musiq Soulchild with out the people, so again, I cant thank you enough..
I thought I would’ve more to say, but I think I said all I can say, at least for now..
I just really wanted to say thank you, and let y’all know how much I love y’all and appreciate all the support..

Musiq’s Canceled London Show Explained
Musiq Soulchild's assistant Donni posted the following bulletin to fans on the singer's blog at Myspace on Wednesday (August 1):Ohh oh London!!!
I can't begin to explain how disappointed we are that the show at the Hammersmith was cancelled at SUCH late notice!
I've already replied to a couple of fans who had tickets, some were surprising a loved one, some where gonna travel hundred of miles just to see the show.
Let me say that Musiq was not reason the show was cancelled.
When you (the fans) hear about a show it is through a promoter in which we sign a contract with. That promoter is responsible for a number of things including travel. Musiq and his entire crew including myself were at the airport when we found out that not only did we not have the promised tickets to get us to London and back, but there was no possible way to get us there through any other airline or routing.
