The Birmingham News reports that ‘American Idol’ season two champ Ruben Studdard has sued his godfather and former business adviser Ronald Edwards, claiming the man misused $246,000 in the year he worked for the Velvet Teddy Bear. Defense attorney Glennon Threatt saud Edwards will answer with counterclaims. “My client believes that Ruben owes him money,” he said.
