Usher also joined fellow singer Johnta Austin and JD’s assistant Tyrone in giving Christina Milian a tough time after seeing photos of the newly blonde singer watching the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks game at Philips Arena in Atlanta. “This is what happens when people fall out of the game,” Austin says in the video. “That’s Christina Milian looking like a damn fool.” Usher also called for a unanimous decision on that not being her ideal look.
The video has since been removed by JD and Usher has issued an apology to Brown. “The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion,” a statement from the singer reads, according to MTV News. “I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

Usher also commented on the election of Barack Obama as the 44th U.S. President. “It says progress for us in America,” Usher said. “To have an African American president is no different than Tiger Woods going in the PGA. It’s no different than Serena and Venus being who they are. I guess that this is just another indication of what we can do as African Americans in America. We came to this country as slaves, and we never got our 40 acres and a mule. So it’s cool to take 50 states and the White House.” Watch the interview below.
