Tribute Album Might Not Fly For TLC
Associated Press spoke with industry insiders on the big fall lineup of new albums hitting stores. Alex Pappademas, an associate editor at Spin commented on TLC’s album which will see the group without its most dynamic member, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, was killed in a car crash in Honduras. “It’s sad, really, but in a way, they’re probably going to have to market that as a memorial tribute album to her, and I don’t know if that’s necessarily going to fly,” says Pappademas.
