Usher phoned into the Tom Joyner Morning Show on Wednesday to discuss the huge success of his new album ‘Confessions’, which came in on top of the album charts again for a second week. Usher wanted to make a classic R&B album instead of a pop/R&B LP. He says it took 10 years to build this success. Tom got kind of tongue tied trying to bring up the subject of TLC’s Chilli, and replayed her “ultimate no-no” interview. Usher says they aren’t back together despite his big sales. They then talked about how hot Atlanta is now in putting out hit music. Audio at reachm.wmod.llnwd.net has since been removed.
