The new sound of R&B is the subject of the February issue of Vibe magazine. Part of the piece centers on Craig David’s trouble getting radio stations to play ‘Fill Me In’. Craig said, “One programmer described ‘Fill Me In’ as techno music, and that baffled me, because techno is totally on another tip. I guess he didnt know anything else to call it.” Of course Craig eventually got his R&B radio play and has climbed the charts in the U.S.
