Richard L. Eldredge of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports additional nude photos of Blu Cantrell have surfaced since the 1994 Black Tail shots were discovered earlier this year. Cantrell graces the cover of the magazine’s current issue, with even more explicit shots she did as Jazmand. The publisher, Dynamite, wrote, “Don’t worry, Blu, we’re the least of all judgmental when it comes to getting naked in front of a camera. In fact, it’s an asset to any career in my book!”

Roxanne Ruben of Venice Magazine spoke with Blu Cantrell about what is next for the singer where she revealed, “I’m actually working on a new album the minute I leave Los Angeles. I’ll be recording in Atlanta, Miami, everywhere! I can’t really say what it’s going to be like because we’re just in the beginning phases, but I know it’s going to be great. It’s going to be a wonderful album.”
Alev Aktar of the New York Daily News gave his thoughts on the outfits worn by the women who attended the Grammys on Wednesday. Aktar said of Alicia Keys: “[She] was shrouded in a glittering head scarf and mint-green goddess gown. This drew all the attention to her gorgeous eyes and crystal-covered lids. ‘It might, like, really hurt, if [the rhinestones] fell,’ Keys said.” Aktar praised Blu Cantrell saying she “looked like she was going to the Academy Awards in a long, ruffled chiffon gown by Diane von Furstenberg.” The full article at nydailynews.com has since been removed or relocated.
Vibe magazine posted their R&B special, ‘The Re-energizers’ about new with artists like Faith Evans, Craig David, Usher, and Blu Cantrell giving life to R&B. Vibe said, “It’s official: R&B’s back, y’all. On the airwaves. At the top of the charts. And, most importantly, in our hearts. After years of coming off like hip hop’s country cousin with a bad weave, R&B is being revitalized by a group of artists who shun the assembly-line approach to production that has defined the genre in the recent past.” Vibe.com has since removed the feature.
